Description
Our specialised Accounting and Finance degree aims to improve employability by concentrating on the practical applications of accounting and finance theories.
Our Accounting and Finance degree is delivered by accounting specialists and is strongly focused on developing you as a ‘business ready’ graduate. In addition, work-based learning is embedded into the programme, so that all graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to meet current and future market needs and be ‘work ready’. This includes a broad base of applications from case studies, problem-solving to work placement opportunities.
Moreover, the Accounting and Finance programme is accredited by three prestigious international professional accounting bodies - the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Association of International Accountants (AIA) and the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA).
Depending on the modules chosen, graduates will be eligible for exemption for up to six ACCA examination papers (F1, F2, F3, F4, F5 and F9) and up to six AIA examination papers (Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3, Paper 4, Paper 6 and Paper 8). In addition, graduates of this programme are eligible for Associate (AFA) level membership.
As our degrees are accredited by the CMI, all our graduating students will also receive a level 5 Diploma/Certificate in Leadership & Management from the CMI worth over £1,300 at no additional expense.
