We've been teaching art and design since 1843, making us one of the UK's most well-established, renowned and respected creative universities; we were recently ranked 8th in the UK for Art and Design (The Complete University Guide 2019).
Located in the centre of a thriving creative city, we offer the experience of an art school while providing all the opportunities and support of a large university. Our courses, ranging from short courses and undergraduate degrees to postgraduate and research degrees, are designed in collaboration with industry, giving you the opportunity to gain real-life experience, and will prepare you to launch or further your own successful creative career.
