Description
The world is facing many public health challenges. The global epidemic of diseases associated with unhealthy lifestyle choices, poverty and climate change are among the many key issues.
Your Public Health degree will give you the knowledge to understand why and how these challenges exist. You will have the opportunity to gain real-life public health experience by working alongside health professionals. In your final year, you can also choose to undertake public health work overseas. Recently, students worked on public health projects in Uganda (additional costs apply).
This public health course offers a skill-based learning approach, with a combination of lectures, online learning and practical placements. You will also use our Hydra Simulation Centre, a simulated learning environment that monitors your leadership and decision making in real- time during critical events.
