Description
Sport psychology seeks to understand the psychological factors that affect the behaviour of individuals, teams or organisations in sport, and how lifestyle issues can influence wellbeing and performance.
Taught by experts who are active researchers and consultants, with experiences of Paralympic and Olympic Games, the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Psychology focuses on applying theoretical knowledge to real-world sporting situations.
This BPS-accredited sport psychology course combines the study of key aspects of psychology with the opportunity to develop a critical understanding of key theories and principles in sport and exercise psychology. You’ll study the main areas of psychology and specialise in sport aspects as you progress. This will enhance your employability and give you an all-round understanding of the field.
There are many exciting opportunities that can be used to boost your CV and impress future employers. You could study abroad, complete specialist short courses, professional certificates and undertake clinical placements on campus.
