This course is new for 2018

Our course builds your leadership and management skills and teaches you how to apply them in an engineering context. You'll explore the impact of new technologies and how they relate to management in the engineering sector. Your studies will cover business analysis, product development and supply chain management.

Throughout the course, you'll develop a strong foundation in management essentials such as finance, operations, project management and strategy. You'll also have the opportunity to focus on areas of management that are most interesting to you.

Project work challenges you to apply your learning and use analytical skills. You'll work in multidisciplinary teams with students who bring knowledge from a range of backgrounds.

Our course is delivered by the Faculty of Engineering & Design and School of Management. This collaborative approach bridges the gap between the two disciplines. You’ll learn from academics with expertise in engineering, innovation, management and business. Their research activities and industrial collaborations will enhance your learning experience. You'll benefit from our links to business through guest lectures, site visits and opportunities to work with partner companies on research projects.
