Description

Develop your creative and teamwork skills on this fast-paced and exciting course. You'll work with our industry-standard cameras and in our professionally-equipped studio to produce programmes for television and other platforms. Gaining specialist skills in single and multi-camera production, you'll explore a range of genres including documentaries, dramas and entertainment programmes.

The majority of your learning is practical, working in our modern HD studio as well as on location. Alongside learning from our teaching team, which includes experienced BBC and ITV producers and directors, you'll have the opportunity to work with leading businesses in the creative industries.

Working with Cheltenham Festivals, you'll have the chance to film and vision-mix large events, and with local sports clubs to produce interviews and game-highlights packages. You'll also gain a thorough understanding of governing ethical and legal frameworks, critical to professional practice.

The course has a very strong sense of community. Our highly successful alumni are regularly able to invite current students to work on very high profile shows such as X Factor and Britain's Got Talent. We also organise regular trips to recordings of shows with backstage access to directors and other members of the production team for example BBC One’s The Living and The Dead.
