As well as the core education modules, you can take modules from other courses, such as history to work within museums, or Early Childhood Studies modules to go into Early Years work.
Sustainability and social justice are central to the course. You’ll examine global issues such as climate change, inequality, migration, changing societies and disability to further explore the role of education. Psychology modules permeate the course helping our understanding of individuals, groups and society to enable you to make a positive impact. Optional modules allow you to tailor your degree to suit your interests and career aspirations.
Put theory into practice on work placements and volunteering opportunities. Students have worked in a wide variety of places including: Camp America, animal shelters, schools, museums and charities, gaining valuable experience and contacts. You can also partake in additional training on topics such as first aid and the Makaton language system.
