Description
Directly aligned to the CIPD’s knowledge requirements, the MSc and PGDip in Human Resource Management offers you the opportunity to build your network. You will be studying as part of a community of students with a rich mix of professional experiences which will enhance your awareness.
The programmes are designed to develop your strategic thinking skills as you deepen your understanding of how human resource management creates competitive advantage for organisations.
The Postgraduate Diploma Human Resource Management follows a part-time curriculum designed to offer flexibility for those studying while working. As a student, you will learn in a community of like-minded professionals; you will receive excellent learning support and have access to the university’s extensive resources to develop your knowledge.
The MSc Human Resource Management is a fast track to CIPD membership - become a CIPD associate member in one year while gaining a Master's degree. As a student you will study full-time, often alongside part-time students who are also practitioners. This creates a rich learning community where professional experiences can be shared and discussed.
The course places a strong emphasis on active learning to complement theory. You will have the opportunity to attend an employment tribunal or other HR related event; you will also be required to attend on-campus CIPD events to enhance your knowledge and expand your professional network.
