Description
This course has been specifically created for international students and includes modules to broaden your knowledge and fluency in business English.
Studying alongside UK students you’ll learn the principles of business from a global perspective. This includes the management of projects, resources, finance, human resources and marketing and understanding how they function across different cultures and international environments. You’ll explore contemporary issues such as globalisation and its effect on individuals, companies and countries.
As you progress your interpersonal skills will improve through public speaking and presentation exercises. Your capacity for intellectual thinking will expand as you learn how to analyse and synthesise information from different sources. You’ll become more fluent in application techniques by working on live business challenges with international brands, and by pitching your ideas to business leaders and taking part in simulations.
There will also be opportunities for you to enter the Universities Business Challenge Worldwide which recognises business-savvy undergraduates around the world.
The course contains five English language modules to help you develop fluency in business English, and with it the confidence to communicate clearly in any international In situation.
You’ll become digitally literate, globally literate and business ready, gaining all the language and cultural skills needed to succeed as a manager in today’s global economy.
