Description
Over the past decade the issues of international trade and economic growth have gained substantial importance due to the rapid progression of globalisation and companies looking to become even more competitive.
Our BA (Hons) Economics with International Trade and Development course uses distinctive perspectives to analyse the nature and scale of international trade as well as its importance for growth and development.
It will enable you to make sense of a range of global policy issues and develop your understanding of the global dimensions to many economic decisions and their impact on our economic and social wellbeing.
This course provides a solid grounding in the main elements of economic analyse, while emphasising their application to public and private sector organisations, as well as to question policy.
As an Economics student you’ll have access to our unique Trading Room facility. With 12 double-screen workstations, the room gives you a simulated experience of working in the fast-moving world of shares and trading. You can access sophisticated analysis tools and data on worldwide financial markets.
This course can be studied over three years full-time or four years with a placement, and offers all students the opportunity to gain some industry experience or travel overseas to study abroad in one of our partner universities with our unique opportunities scheme.
