Description
Construction project managers lead, manage and control all construction operations. Their primary role is to ensure that construction projects are completed on-time and within budget. They identify and control resources and ensure quality standards and safety requirements are met.
Studying this degree course will teach you how to plan, organise and control construction operations, building your knowledge in all stages of the process – from initial feasibility studies through to design, construction, maintenance, refurbishment and demolition. You will also have the opportunity to take part in project orientated group work where real problems will be tackled.
This course is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) meaning that you will be educated to the highest industry standards. You will also be encouraged to undertake a placement year in industry between your second and third year, which you will arrange with our support.
