This degree takes a multi-disciplinary approach to the study of sport, exercise and physical activity. You will study the core subjects of physiology and psychology along with a range of other disciplines. The degree prepares you for employment in a diverse range of careers across sport, exercise and physical activity, whether that is in elite sport, within a clinical or health setting or as a fitness professional.  In addition many of our students also go on to complete a PGCE to become a teacher or undertake a Master or MPhil/PhD. 

The course ranked highly in the most recent National Student Survey achieving 91% and comments reflect the enthusiasm that the staff have for the subject, making it interesting and stimulating for the students. The department pride themselves in the relationship that they have with students on the course, and Wrexham Glyndŵr University as a whole is ranked 2nd in the UK for teaching quality.
