Description
If you are looking to study for a degree, gain the gold standard industry qualifications and spend the equivalent of two months in a real newsroom, then this is the course for you.
Our new BA (Hons) Journalism gives you everything you need to get started on a career in the media. It offers academic study with experienced industry professionals plus accreditation by the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) giving you the industry’s top vocational qualifications. And at the heart of the programme will be an extensive work placement in the third year giving you unprecedented access to the 'shop window' of media employers across the region.
Our journalism team has been running a successful NCTJ-accredited journalism short course since 2008 with almost 80 per cent of our students working as media professionals across the UK. Now we are wrapping that expertise into a degree to give you a comprehensive package of qualifications and experience over three years.
