Description

This programme, is designed for new and existing UK non-surgical aesthetic practitioners, who wish to improve their future career prospects, by completing an MSc programme in Non-surgical Aesthetic Medicine.

This level 7 award will benefit professional registrants, already working in the UK by introducing and reinforcing the knowledge and skills necessary, as a professional non-surgical aesthetic practitioner of aesthetics medicine. Completion will evidence a mastery level of competency, which can be heavily relied upon by practitioners, and patients who wish to undergo or seek non-surgical aesthetic procedures for cosmetic purposes.

From April 2018, the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) began registering non-surgical aesthetic practitioners and training providers, across the entire U.K., offering voluntary regulation to those practitioners who meet the highest current standards of practice and education. Students will only be able to register with the JCCP as a level 7 practitioner in non-surgical aesthetic practice, following the completion of a JCCP varified programme, which meets JCCP educational and Cosmetic Practice Standards Authority (CPSA), standards of education, training and practice. This new and innovative MSc programme, will be submitted to the JCCP in 2018/2019 for verification.

The MSc Non-surgical Aesthetic Medicine programme, prepares professional registrants to undertake careers in non-surgical aesthetic medicine, at level 7. The programme enables students to develop a mastery level of understanding regarding anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology, whilst also developing a critical understanding of the complex, ethical and legal issues associated with private non-surgical aesthetic practice within the UK. Students will further develop a range of evidence based practice skills, which are designed to support safe, ethical and patient centred practice.
